Dearest neighbor,
I’m Theresa Harper Kolodzik. I’m asking you to elect me as Colerain Township Trustee this November 7, 2023.
I’m running for Township Trustee because I believe I can magnify why Colerain Township is a destination place to Live, Work and Play! My work and volunteer experience gives me a unique vantage point to do just that.
I’m a realtor with a seasoned background in business development. That background includes closing gaps in operational policies and procedures, identifying and writing grants, preparing budgets, building a volunteer base for additional services, improving communications, and building collaborating partnerships.
I can’t get elected without you. Kindly share my information with other Colerain Township residents that you may know. Continue reading more about me and my platform. I want to earn the privilege of your vote!
Sincere Appreciation,
Theresa
My Platform
I have 4 focus areas for starters:
-EPA initiatives,
-greater communication,
-improved maintenance,
-support our small businesses.
If I’m honored to be elected as Colerain Township Trustee, I will solicit your input, ensure voices are heard, considered, and reflected in the board’s decisions.

EPA Initiatives
We must be kinder to our environment. Smelling Rumpke isn’t an attraction that we want. Together, we can reduce trash in our landfills through better education and participation township-wide. California has some of the best practices we can adopt here.
There are grant funds and environmental partnerships available to help us to recycle, reduce, and reuse. Utilizing both resources, we can be a model for other Townships to follow.
Communication
Colerain Township has lots of events, resources, and opportunities to volunteer, but unless you already know about them, it’s the world’s best kept secret.
Best practices tell us how to share and receive information township wide. The information would be provided rather you are tech savvy or not. And yes. It can be affordably funded or sponsored.
Maintenance
Making proactive maintenance and repair must be the minimum standard. It’s cheaper to fix a crack than a pothole. This principle applies to any type of repair or maintenance needs.
Support Small Businesses in Colerain Towship
We must commit to shopping at Colerain small businesses. It reduces our carbon footprint, and keeps our business district, who are also our neighbors, thriving. We can promote all small businesses through our website and a newsletter. I have many creative ways to drive residents to businesses. The bottom line is, they invested in us to be here, we should invest in them to stay here.
WHAT I DO
LEADERSHIP IN Community Service
I’m a product of my parents’ teachings which are: To give more than you get; excellence must always be my minimum standard; and I am my brother’s keeper.
These standards are demonstrated through my community service and strong work ethics.
